While I finished installing everything a couple weeks ago now, I really couldn’t consider it complete until it was done leaking and rattling. Today I removed a bracket I forgot to take off originally (was interfering with the header) and tightened up the joints. Now everything is officially done and sounds pretty great!
Install includes:
- Cobalt 4-2-1 Stainless Steel Headers
- Roadstersport Sport Midpipe
- Roadstersport Muffler
I am running the Muffler without the sound-deadening insert so it’s as loud as it is going to get. I will have to eventually record a better video for the sound (without the shop fan located like 20 feet away) and take some actual pictures.

is it bad that without knowing what car you had and just looking at the image of the backbox (and not reading your text) that I knew it was an NB Miata?

Sounds so smooth and not raspy at all. Very nice.

Sounds even better from the drivers seat!

I mean I would know it just as quickly so I’m a bad judge lol. Is it worse that I can smell the exhaust from a bunch of miatas driving by and instantly recognize it?
